The 2028 Tesla Roadster Reservations Now Open in the Philippines, Starts at 350,000 Pesos

Tesla’s next-generation Roadster is now open for reservations in the Philippines, giving Filipinos a chance to secure a place in line for the company’s long-awaited electric sports car. The announcement follows the vehicle’s latest unveiling, which showcased a Cybertruck-esque design and ambitious performance claims, including acceleration from zero to 60 mph in under one second.
According to local reports, reservations start with an initial payment of 350,000 Pesos. Interested buyers for the Roadster Performance package must pay an additional 3.15 million Pesos within 10 days, while the Roadster Thrust requires another 17.15 million Pesos within the same period. The Thrust version adds rear-mounted cold-gas thrusters, while the more advanced Roadster Rocket is available by invitation only, lucky if any Filipino customer could secure one. These amounts though are reservation payments and not confirmed final vehicle prices.
The new Roadster is expected to enter production in 2028, although Tesla has yet to confirm Philippine delivery dates or final local pricing. Its thruster-equipped versions also raise questions about road legality and practical use, particularly in the Philippines. Buyers should check the applicable reservation terms, refund conditions, and vehicle regulations before committing a substantial amount of money.
For now, the Roadster remains an ambitious project rather than a car buyers can expect to receive soon. Tesla’s history of postponing the next-generation model makes the production timeline worth watching, even as its latest unveiling puts the electric sports car back in the spotlight.
