Things were a little backwards when the OnePlus 8T hit the market, but that’s to be expected as there was no “Pro” version on the 8T this year. What we could somehow get hold our hopes for is next year as OnePlus is set to launch their next generation flagship series.
Just recently, leaks for the forthcoming OnePlus 9 series were spread online however it was just today that a seamingly official render of the device went live online. But at the moment, it is for the OnePlus 9 Pro which we can see from the image below:
From the looks of it, the handset will carryover the dual-curved display of the OnePlus 8 Pro but according to our leaker @OnLeaks, the handset is getting a slightly smaller display, 6.55-inch to be exact as compared to the 6.7-inch of the 8 Pro.
You’d also get a new camera module on the back with ala-Samsung Galaxy Note 20 camera bump with up to four cameras installed.
Besides the obvious visuals from the image, there’s no mention of possible hardware spec’s it carries. Although looking back at previous generations in the series, it tells us that the upcoming flagship device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm.
There’s rumors that the next OnePlus flagship will be launch ahead of the usual schedule and that is somewhere around March in 2021.
