Cherry Mobile Flare S3 to be unveiled in the next few days. A significant upgrade over the current Flare S2

It was barely three months after Cherry Mobile released the Flare S2 and we even bought one unit after a month or so and now another device for the same series will be coming out in a few days.

Revealed by Cherry Angel – a Cherry Mobile retailer outlet, the local mobile phone company will be release a new handset for the Flare S series as the successor of Flare S2, The Flare S3 features the almost the same specs as the recently released Flare 3 but with OTG support and a better camera from which the Flare 3 doesn’t have.

According to our sources, the Cherry Mobile is yet to unveil the device which is expected in a few days as soon as the device hits the store shelves. Though some have speculated that they may have similarities with the Flare 3.

Considerably a solid update to current Flare S2, the Flare S3 boosts a MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad-core MT6582 processor with ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space.

from the original 4-inch display on the first Flare S, and 4.5-inch on the Flare S2, the Flare S3 opted to a large 5-inch qHD IPS display with OGS Technology and a Scratch Resistant Glass to complete the display package.

It also comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus main camera with BSI sensor and coupled with LED flash and a 5 Megapixel camera on the front for better selfies and high-resolution video calls.

Though this information is premature at the moment considering the rumors that the Flare 3 and Flare S3 are closely the same, The specs mentioned above may change or won’t be coming out with the actual product, so as of now, let’s take this rumors lightly and wait until Cherry Mobile make the official announcement.

Though, Cherry Angel has also revealed that they will be retailing the upcoming Flare S3 for 3,999.00 that is much like the same as users bought a Flare 3 handset but with an upgraded specs. The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 when available will have Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box but will only have a 1,980 mAh battery which we believe is bit low considering the large display and other component’s power requirements despite having Android 4.4 KitKat power management features.
