Nokia 225 Single and Dual SIM affordable feature phones announced
You think feature phones and other phones with the same features are going away with the proliferation of smartphones in the market? Think again, these phones may offer less than the capabilities of a smartphone but let’s not forget that these devices serves for a specific purpose, focus and market.
Nokia recently announced another budget friendly feature phone that is yet to populate our retail stores the Nokia 225. Both offered on a single and dual SIM variants, the Nokia 225 features a larger 2.8-inch screen with entertainment and internet capabilities to keeps you entertained while keeping you connected to the vast network of information and communication. All these features are housed in a slim profile that Nokia claims to be the slimmest affordable phone yet that they have released.
The Nokia 225 packs features that do away the boring stuff, with its 2.8-inch display the Nokia 225 is good enough to browse your photos or download and watch videos online. You can also use the phone as a personal FM Radio or better yet listen to your favorite songs from your mp3 collections from a microSD card.
It also comes along with a 2 Megapixel camera for an impromptu shots or for moments that’s worth sharing to the web or nearby devices via Bluetooth. As sharing is a common place these days, facebook and twitter app comes pre-loaded with the new Nokia 225. design to be connected, the phone is equipped with Nokia’s Xpress browser that puts data costs at minimum as data is optimized for the browser before sending them to the device, this should keep your internet data cost at bay while delivering data faster than a regular mobile browser.
Nokia has also added five pre-loaded games namely; Block Breaker 3, Asphalt 6, Assassins Creed 3, The Avengers and Real Football 2012 to keep the fun active and with its expandable memory capabilities, you’ll be entitled to add more apps, games, photos and videos to the Nokia 255.
The Nokia 255 and its dual SIM variant will start shipping this second quarter of 2014 on selected markets at a price of 39.00 euros excluding duties and taxes and ships in 5 different colors with Bright red, green, yellow, white and black.
