ZTE is better known for its affordable line-up of devices and with design features similar to other competitive products, ZTE’s offering seems to be a fine alternative if you want a device that would work out just right as you have expected.

To reach a larger group of customers, ZTE brought out a relatively low-end handsets that sells quite successful in a not so tech savvy and undemanding market. Launched recently in China is the new Q519T, a handset that precedes the Q509T that came out a few months ago but this time packs a considerable amount of features in a very affordable price.

The ZTE Q519T has a 5-inch HD display with a Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset running at 1 GHz, this is paired with 1 GB of RAM but with a modest 8 GB of internal storage space. As it would always be the case, users will need more room for stuff and ZTE have anticipated that idea that it includes a microSD slot that supports up to 32 GB of microSD cards.

Being cheap doesn’t mean having cheap specs at all, the Q519T cames with a good pair of cameras with 5 Megapixel main camera on the back with a sapphire lens and a f/2.0 aperture that comes in handy for  low-lighting conditions, on the front there’s a 2 Megapixel selfie camera that will also be of good use for high-quality video calls.

Like any devices designed for the Chinese and other Asian markets, the Q519T comes with a Dual-SIM capabilities and supporting 4G/LTE cards. Other connectivity comes as standard on most smartphone devices which includes: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0.

As one of its selling point besides the attractive price tag, the handset packs a whopping 4000 mAh battery and is said to give users up to 35 days of standby time and something that could last more than a day for a daily driver device. Other that a self-serving battery with 3 different power-saving modes, the handset also feature an OTG reverse charging option.

As it might be the case, the new ZTE Q519T will only be offered in China with a price of just $95. Available in Gold, White or Blue with Android 5.0 Lollipop running right out of the box. Though it’s still uncertain if ZTE will offer the handset in our local shores but we have our high hopes that they will given that they have already penetrated the local mobile phone scene in the Philippines for quite some time now.
