YouTube is testing new video to GIF converter feature

Our favorite video sharing site YouTube is planning to launch a new feature that will allow users to create GIF animated image of videos from the site. The service is currently under testing on the PBS Idea Channel page which allows users to click the share button and a video trimmer should be available where you could move the slider of the trim selector on which part of the video frame that you want to include into the GIF animation.

Currently the site will allow users to create a 5-second auto-generated GIF animation with the ability to include text on both the upper and lower part of the GIF image. This feature will ease up the create of GIF images especially to those who are a fan of this type of images. This will also revolutionize the way we create GIF’s without the need of special tools and software to capture video frames as the service come built-in right from the YouTube video sharing service.

We should then expect more cat GIF images and every video from YouTube would have a share of its own once the feature will be fully implemented for public use and consumption.
