Xiaomi officially announced the new Mi Notebook Pro X

Xiaomi’s latest Notebook announcement in China proves that even smartphone manufactures are well suited to take the role of providing a devices for every computing needs. The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X packs a lot with the latest hardware and impressive features.

Thee Mi Notebook Pro X comes with a 15.6-inch OLED display with a 3.5K at 3456 x 2160p screen resolution and offers up to 600nits of brightness and a full DCI-P3 color gamut. The display is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass layer for protection against just above everything from scratches and such.

With an impressive display to begin with, the new notebook is fairly thin and light and features a 4.03mm thick bezels with a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

Performance-wise, the new Mi Notebook Pro X is powered by the 11th-Gen Intel Core processor with either the Core i5’s and the Core i7’s. There’s an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Notebook GPU for graphics and comes with 4GB of GDDR6 video RAM.

For its system RAM and storage, the new Notebook may be configured with either 16GB or 32GB of DDR4 RAM and storage between 512GB and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

On connectivity, there’s WiFi 6 together with Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless interface and wire wired connections, it comes with 4 USB ports, 1 Intel Thunderbolt4, 1 HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Feature-wise, the new Mi Notebook Pro X includes 4x speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and this supports DTS Audio. It also got a fingerprint scanner, a backlit keyboard and an 80Wh battery which comes with 130W fast charging capability through a USB-C interface that promises a 50% charge in less than half an hour.

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X is available in a single Space Gray color option. The new Notebook is now up for Pre-order in China and is expected to go on sale starting July 9 with no info on International availability as of yet.
