Xiaomi Mi A2 cameras teased ahead of today’s launch

By now, you should probably heard about Xiaomi’s update to its Android One device the Mi A1. Though there has been a numerous number of devices before it went into the market but its important to note that it was the Xiaomi Mi A1 that propelled the second generation of Google’s Android One initiative to get a firm hold into the mobile market.

The new Xiaomi Android One devices, you heard it right and is in plural form as Xiaomi will be introducing not one but two Android One devices this year and as what rumors suggests it will be explicitly called the Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite.

The upcoming Mi A2 handsets will continue what the Mi A1 has so far and will improve in key areas including a new Screen aspect ratio, a new navigation gestures and ultimately a huge improvements in terms of Mobile Photography where the current Mi A1 shines.

Given that’s the case, a new teaser a head of today’s launch event is made available online through twitter which signifies that the upcoming handsets will at least offer the same camera configuration as the Mi A1 and it should improve its capabilities and probably add the same AI algorithms that are now found on the latest Mi smartphone devices.

The teaser suggests improvements in its portrait mode and continues to improve images through its dual-tone LED flash and more importantly in its Telephoto lenses with far superior image quality than the current Mi A1. There will also be a number of color options for the Mi A2 and that includes, Pink and Blue color options in addition to the traditional Black and Silver color variants.

The new Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite will be officially unveiled later today. We’ll get more about these new devices in a few moments so stay tuned.
