Xiaomi 16 Design Sketch Leaks Ahead of September Launch, Hints at New Features and Massive Battery

We’re almost halfway through the year and still feeling the effects of the Xiaomi 15 buzz, but in just a few months, the upcoming Xiaomi 16 is expected to be unveiled. Typically, by September, Xiaomi introduces its next flagship device in China and this year, the launch is expected shortly after Qualcomm announces its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite chip.

Xiaomi fans are now looking forward to the next iteration of the flagship, and today, we have an alleged CAD-based sketch of the Xiaomi 16’s design. Take a look:

As seen above, the Xiaomi 16 features a slightly updated design compared to its predecessor. While the camera module appears largely unchanged, there are subtle refinements around it. The sketch also suggests a two-tone makeover, giving the impression that Xiaomi might be concealing a new feature underneath, perhaps something nifty.

According to previous reports, the upcoming Xiaomi 16 is expected to include a periscope lens and a massive 6,800mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.
