This week’s oil trading presented a mixed bag of deals and developments that are expected to influence next week’s oil price movements.

According to industry experts, oil prices in the Philippines are projected to show mixed trends. Both diesel and kerosene prices are expected to decrease slightly—by no more than 50 centavos. Gasoline prices, on the other hand, are likely to remain unchanged or possibly see a modest increase of up to 20 centavos.

Here are the estimates:

  • Diesel: ₱0.10 – ₱0.30/liter rollback
  • Kerosene: ₱0.30 – ₱0.50/liter rollback
  • Gasoline: ₱0.00 – ₱0.20/liter increase

One of the key factors influencing next week’s oil price adjustments is the positive development in the nuclear deal negotiations between Iran and the U.S., along with easing tensions related to the ongoing trade war.
