Vivo have recently shoot into stardom with their gimbal-equipped X50 Pro and the company the company just showed off its upgraded successor with the new X60 Pro+.
Like the one before it, the X60 Pro+ is also an imaging wonder with every camera related improvements you can think of.
The main camera module is primarily equipped with a 50 Megapixel ISOCELL GN1 camera with a large 1/1.3” sensor and 1.2µm pixels on a bright f/1.57 Aperture lens. Then there’s a 32 Megapixel and a 50mm Telephoto lens which provides twice the magnification and a 8 Megapixel Periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and can go up to 60x with digital zoom.
But the star of the show is its Ultra Wide module with a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX598 sensor as it comes with a gimbal stabilization system, there’s no device that we know of that comes such as such but only with Vivo X series. It can correct ±3° of movement and it triples the function of a typical OIS.
Feature-wise, the new X60 Pro+ comes with Super Night Mode 2.0 which can work with just 0.01 Lux and has an improved light sensitivity by 38.8% with better focusing.

It also comes with the Zeiss logo slapped on the camera module which basically means, it uses Zeiss optics to improve its imaging capabilities with T* anti-reflective coating on both sides of the each lenses. There’s also a nano-crystaline structure on these lenses which further enhances it and this is regarded as a first of its kind in a smartphone camera.
As for its front camera, the X60 Pro+ includes a single 32 Megapixel camera with an f/2.8 aperture lens capable of 4K video recording at 30fps.

The device is built with a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel and features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300nits of brightness with HDR10+ suppport.
What powers it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with a Adreno 660 GPU on board. It comes in two configurations with either 8GB/128GB or a 12GB/256GB of RAM and storage combos. There’s not memory expansion slot around so a wiser choice of these combinations is a much upon purchase.
Making everything work on the X60 Pro+ is a 4,200mAh battery, it’s a little less than its predecessor but it takes fast charger up a notch with now supporting 55W charging.
The new Vivo X60 Pro+ is available in two color variants: Orange and Dark Blue with a price starting at under CNY5,000 (US$775) for the 8GB/128GB model and just barely CNY6,000 for its 12GB/256GB variant.
