Smartphone cameras are now front and center, and Vivo is not only strengthening its position but also making significant strides to dominate the mobile photography market with its upcoming Vivo X200 Ultra.
The company has started teasing the X200 Ultra as the official launch date approaches, set for April 21st in China. While the device may not leave its country of origin (again), it’s interesting to note that major Chinese smartphone manufacturers are stepping up their game, leaving competitors behind.
The X200 Ultra largely borrows its design from the X200 Pro, and its specifications are already well-known within the online community, with fans eagerly awaiting the device’s arrival on store shelves.

As officially teased by Vivo, the Vivo X200 Ultra will make further improvements to its camera capabilities and will come with its own dedicated photography kit.
The kit is said to be reminiscent of the one Xiaomi created for their Xiaomi Ultra series. It will feature a two-tone design with a camera grip on one side, which includes a camera shutter button and a scroll wheel, while the rest of the kit will incorporate a faux leather element.
According to Han Boxiao, product manager at Vivo, the X200 Ultra photography kit will include a 2,300mAh battery with USB-C connectivity, a dedicated video button, and a fashionable shoulder strap to complete the camera equipment aesthetic.
