Powering these devices is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and either a 64GB or 128GB of storage. Expect no microSD card slot on a Pixel, like it has always been since the Nexus days. But you’ll have to choice wisely when purchasing the new handset as Google does not include unlimited storage for original quality Google Photos cloud storage.

Google is renowned for creating the best, ideal and highly optimized tandem of hardware and software in the imaging department. For the first time ever, Google finally equipped the Pixel 4 with dual main cameras.

It comes with a primary 12 Megapixel camera with a bright f/1.7 Aperture lens and is equipped with Dual Pixel technology. The primary camera is also built with Optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization.

Google with all its new advancements in AI includes a new Neural Core and software algorithms which drives all the ins and outs of its imaging hardware. With these new advancements, the Pixel 4 now is able to provide HDR+ Liveview which previews HDR+ scenes in real time.

A 16 Megapixel sensor makes up the dual camera system with a telephoto lens. This sensor is also equipped with OIS as well as EIS and provides 2x optical zoom. It may sound that the fun ends there but it features Super Resolution Zoom which extends its zooming capability beyond 2x through it software algorithms. The new secondary camera is now use to create Bokeh effects which was driven by pure software code in previous generation Pixels.

Within the camera module of the handset, you’ll notice a seemingly third sensor in the mix however it’s not a camera but a spectral + flicker sensor.

On the front, there’s obviously no notch or whatsoever but a noticeable forehead is present. It’s not that Google is not all in support for display notches but feature-wise the top bezel on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL house a few sensors than just its front facing camera.

With that in mind, the handset is equipped with an 8 Megapixel Selfie camera and features Spacial 3D depth sensor for highly sensitive camera-based facial recognition.

Then there’s a radar on both the Pixel 4’s, like literally a Soli radar which will be responsible for the Phone’s new Air Gesture features.
