HMD Global brought back the iconic 3310 with updated design and features. But what HMD Global initially rolled out with was only design to support GSM networks which left countries that moved on to 3G as the standard mobile network for wireless devices. Now that won’t be the case as HMD Global finally launched the new 3310 3G variant on those regions.
With 3G connectivity in place, this feature phone can happily browse the web at faster speed than its 2G counterpart. users will also be able to check their Facebook and Twitter straight from the device.
Besides its 3G capabilities, the new 3310 3G also got an updated interface to match with the added function on the device. There’s also a minor resigned in the user interface where users can now customize their 3310 UI with color themes and the ability to rearrange the icons as users wishes to..
As will the Nokia 3310, users will be able to enjoy the nostalgic keymat grid and the signature design of the Nokia 3310 that we all enjoyed and loved over the years. The Nokia 3310 3G will be available in Azure, Yellow, Warm Red or Charcoal color options and should be in store shelves in the middle of October for $69.
