The new Redmi K30 Ultra with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ goes official

As part of Xiaomi’s sub brand, the Redmi K30 series is also given an updated touch to celebrate Xiaomi’s 10th year Anniversary and to commemorate that, Xiaomi launched the new Redmi K30 Ultra.

The K30 Ultra shares about everything there is on the K30 Pro released earlier this year except for the fact that the new K30 Ultra opted for the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset which makes it significantly cheaper than the Pro with equally par performance with AI functionalities enabled through its 6-core APU 3.0 unit.

The handset is built around a 6.63-inch Samsung-E3 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate together with 240Hz of touch sample rate given users a smoother and virtually flawless experience. You’d also get no holes, no notch or whatsoever on the display as it comes with a pop-up selfie which you can enjoy your full contents without any distractions.

The pop-up Selfie camera houses a 20 Megapixel sensor while the back main camera module is equipped primarily by a 64 Megapixel sensor backed by a 13 Megapixel Ultra Wide, a 5 Megapixel Tele/Macro camera and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor.

Feature-wise, the handset runs on dual Hyper Engine 2.0 and Game Turbo optimization engines which enhances gaming experiences. There’s also a ultra-large area vapor chamber with a graphene+graphite 3D heat dissipation system which helps the device maintain its temperature and optimize performance on heavy usage.

The new Redmi K30 Ultra is equipped with a 4500mAh embedded battery which should be able to last for about a day with normal use. It also supports 33W fast wired charging which should be able to fill the battery from zero to a full in about an hour.
