The new Apple iPad Pro packs a 12.9-inch Retina Display with 4GB RAM and the latest A9X chipset
Rumors about a larger iPad has lingered for months with speculations on its size and what’s underneath. Now rumors are given the justification they deserve as Apple finally announced the iPad Pro, Cupertino’s largest and highly advanced iPad ever with a 12.9-inch Retina display. With refined multitouch technology the iPad Pro lets you do anything, would that be for entertainment, games or productivity, the new iPad takes the tasks that you’ve wished in the past which are only possible with a Mac.
based on the design of the iPad Air 2, the large 12.9-inch display on the iPad Pro proves that Apple is more than willing to shell out other possibilities in modern computing. Packed with the company’s latest and fastest chipset to date, the iPad Pro is endowed with the latest A9X chipset which is said to have doubled the performance of the iPad Air 2.
As Pro as it gets, the iPad Pro comes with a large 12.9-inch display with a 2,732 x 2,048 pixels resolution. Like from all other iPad devices in the market, the new iPad Pro still rocks a 4:3 aspect ratio which works all the same way as your regular iPad but in a larger scale. The high-resolution Retina display ensures you a wide display and working area and even so for screen real estate demanding apps such as those for image and video editing and other productivity software.
Like the iPhone 6s, the iPad Pro is also equipped with the latest generation of processing chip and that is the new 64-bit A9X with a desktop-class architecture. It is 1.8x faster than the one in the iPad Air 2, with high responsiveness and increase in speed, users should experience snappy performance with up to 22% increase in performance compared to its predecessors. With desktop-grade performance, the new iPad Pro can seamlessly run power-hungry apps which are only possible with a desktop computer in the past. The new iPad Pro can also edit 4K videos easily with playback almost instantly without noticeable lag.
Supporting the new chipset is a 4GB of RAM which Apple didn’t mention during the Hey Siri event but was recently confirmed by Adobe. With the amount of RAM, heavy applications can run smoothly and provides a way more better multitasking giving users the chance to switch between apps with full responsiveness.
The iPad Pro is also equipped with cameras as standard components on the device to both front and back. The main camera on the back is an 8 Megapixel Auto Focus iSight camera with 5-Element lens and Backside Illumination. The front camera on the other hand is a standard FaceTime camera with 1.2 Megapixel sensor and features a Backside Illumination technology with improved face detection.
With faster LTE-Advanced technology, the iPad Pro can connect wirelessly anywhere in the world as it supports 20 LTE bands with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps. it also supports Wi-Fi and MIMO which allow users to easily connect on fast Wi-Fi networks and enjoys with download speeds of up to 866 Mbps.

Coming on the new iPad Pro is Apple’s most beautiful mobile operating system to date. The iOS 9 for the iPad brings new features and interface to the table and taking advantage on the huge display, iOS 9 comes with a new split-screen feature that takes two apps sitting side by side on the same screen making multitasking easier and more productive.
