The Huawei Y9 (2018) goes official in Thailand

Huawei just announced the new Y9 2018 device in Thailand and is the latest mid-ranger from Huawei that sports quadruple cameras and with a tall a slim profile. One would easily notice their similarities with the Mate 10 Lite with a slightly redesigned back.

The handset has a large 5.93-inch display with of course an 18:9 aspect ratio. the display is an IPS panel with a resolution of Full-HD+ at 1080 x 2160 pixels. Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and a 32GB expandable storage.

For photography, the Huawei Y9 (2018) is equipped with four cameras each with dual cameras both for the front and back. The back has a 16 Megapixel sensor mated to a 2 Megapixel depth sensing camera with LED flash. Then at the front, you have a 13 Megapixel camera paired with another 2 Megapixel depth sensing sensor for your portrait Selfies.

The new Huawei Y9 (2018) runs Android Oreo out of the box and is kept by a large 4000 mAh embedded battery. It’s built with a full metal unibody design and will be available in Black, Gold and Blue color options.

Huawei is yet to unveil the price of Y9 (2018) as well as when it’s going to become available in the market.
