The flagship Realme X50 Pro is here: Snapdragon 865, 90Hz display and a multiple camera array

Who could have thought that even mid-range contenders and affordable brands such Realme would take on and enter the realms of the high-end space, yet they still managed to priced their offerings significantly less that the usual.
Realme just launched their new X50 5G device at the start of the year, it was the company’s first 5G offering and just a month later, Realme is bringing the new X50 Pro 5G and surprisingly enough, it’s the company’s flagship with a flagship chipset that’s no other than the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.
Performance

Having a flagship chipset inside could make a once a mid-ranger to a top of the line then and that proves as possible for the new Realme X50 Pro 5G. Together with the new SoC, it combines with a 5G modem to tear up a vast performance score on popular benchmark AnTuTu as recent reports suggests.
To help keep the performance at the top, Realme uses a speedy LPDDR5 RAM of either 6GB or 8GB and even 12GB of RAM with a UFS 3.0 storage of either 128GB or 256GB with TurboWrite and Host Performance Booster which enables read and write speeds up to 790MB/s and 1900MB/s respectively.
Entertainment and Everything
Making up that performance valuable to users, the new Realme X50 Pro 5G uses a 6.44-inch super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate in Full-HD+. It also boost a under-display fingerprint scanner with a response time of just 0.27 second.

Carried over from the Realme X50, the X50 Pro variant also uses the same four sensors on the back with the 64 Megapixel as its main camera. There’s a 8 Megapixel camera with Ultra Wide angle lens and a 12 Megapixel with a Telephoto lens. The fourth sensor on the bunch is a monochrome sensor which basically is a depth sensing camera capable of blurring out the background on Portrait shots.
On the front, the Selfie shooter has a dual camera module which is housed on a pill-shaped cut-out on the display. It houses a 32 Megapixel main sensor and is supported by an 8 Megapixel with Ultra Wide lens.

To wrap up these features, Realme adds dual Stereo speakers on the Realme X50 Pro and has vapor cooling system to keep performance and help everything to work at optimum at all times.
Connectivity

Besides the new 5G wireless connectivity, the Realme X50 Pro also supports the new WiFi 6 standards and there’s NFC and Bluetooth 5.1. It uses a USB-C interface for charging and wired connectivity but misses a dedicated headphone jack.
Battery and OS

The new Realme X50 Pro uses the latest Realme UI 1.0 with features based on Oppo’s ColorOS 7.0 built on Android 10.

The Battery on the new device is rated at 4,200 mAh and supports 65W SuperDart Flash Charge that could fill the device in about 35 minutes. A 20 minute charge could easily fill the battery up to 60% and could last a day in normal usage conditions. Besides that, the new X50 Pro also supports 18W Quick Charge delivery and 30W VOOC 4.0 fast-charging solutions.
Availability
The new Realme X50 Pro will be available in Moss Green and Rust Red with a price starting at 599 Euros for base variant and up to 799 Euros for the top of the line 12GB/256GB configurations.
