Sony is yet to launched the new PlayStation 5 later this year but the hype is up as the highly anticipated update to Sony’s next-gen console lingers.

To fuel the anticipation even more, Sony introduced the PlayStation 5 controller ahead of launch dubbed the DualSense, a wireless controller with a whole new design that gives users a whole new sense of experience.

The new controller replaces Sony’s long standing familiar controller design that dates back even to the first generation PlayStation. DualSense shows a futuristic two-tone makeover but has retained some of the most important features from its predecessor that includes: a center touchpad, symmetrical layout with analog sticks, direction pad, face buttons and light bar.

With the new design, it also comes with new upgrades. The new Sony DualSense controller includes haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to its L2 and R2 buttons to keep the experience as realistic as possible. It also includes a built-in mic and a USB-C port.

It also has a Create button (previously the Share button) for recording gameplays. The PlayStation button is meticulously designed in a figure of the actual PlayStation logo itself and features a better and longer battery life and weighs lighter than the DualShock 4 controller.

Like we’ve mentioned earlier, the PlayStation 5 can be expected later this year with Sony targets around a December 2020 launch.
