Soon after the flagship models are updated to the latest version of Android, Sony now rolls out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the Xperia XA1 series and that includes the Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Plus and the premium Xperia XA1 Ultra.
Sony promised earlier that they are going to update this series to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo and they never failed their customers. Along with the OS upgrade, it also brought along the February security patch to the update which weighs a total of 900MB.
Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Xperia XA1 brings a lot of new features to the series including the ability to bring out context menus when long pressing the app icon or selected text, refreshing color schemes, smart reminders and Xperia Assist, better performance and of course a lot of bug fixes.
