Not even Samsung can stop itself from release new devices every now and then, the latest leaked device isn’t coming from our all the usual sources but straight from Samsung’s own website. The Galaxy On5 and On7 is expected to be announced in the next few weeks but one of Samsung’s regional website has posted the said device online which was then briefly taken down. The brief appearance of the page was short but some of us had already taken all the major information that we need to know about the handset including its official images and specs.

As what we had already earlier, the Galaxy On5 would be the company’s latest entry-level handset and is one of the company’s first few handsets manufactured in India that features a 5-inch 720p TFT LCD to keep the price low. Under the skin is an unverified quad-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM and an 8 GB internal memory which left users with only half of the total storage space but that won’t be too much of a problem as it supports microSD cards for storage expansion.

Unlike all other aspects of the device, its imaging capabilities isn’t that in line with the current standards and includes a capable 8 Megapixel main camera assisted by an LED flash and is all we designed to capture 1080p videos while the front features a 5 Megapixel Selfie camera.

Connectivity isn’t too basic as well as Samsung includes Dual SIM slot with both are capable of 4G/LTE wireless connection. The handset is fueled by a removable 2600 mAh Battery which promises up to 13 hours of browsing or 12 hours of continuous video playback.

As an entry=level handset, the price should come pretty easy to handset as it cost around INR 10,000 or roughly $155.

Together with the new Galaxy On5, Samsung is also coming out with a larger Galaxy On7 that features a larger 5.5-inch display and still include a 720p resolution display. Aside from the larger display, its imaging capabilities also received a significant boost with a larger 13 Megapixel main camera while we believe that it still includes the same 5 Megapixel front shooter like the Galaxy On5. It also has a much better battery with the 3000 mAh removable battery.

That what we know so far with these new handsets and is expected to see more about the new devices in the next few weeks or so. The new Galaxy On7 has a suggested retail price of INR 13,000 or roughly about 200.
