Samsung to Launch Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, Bringing “Ultra” Status to Foldables

The Ultra variant is no longer exclusive to Samsung’s Galaxy S series, as the Korean tech giant is set to bring the Ultra treatment to its foldables with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra.

Samsung has officially released a teaser for this new model, which is expected to launch later this year alongside its siblings: the regular Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE.

Like Samsung’s other flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Z Fold7 Ultra is rumored to feature a best-in-class camera. As shown in the teaser, it will also sport a noticeably slimmer profile. While exact dimensions have not been confirmed, it is expected to be a few millimeters thinner than the current Z Fold6.

The existence of the Z Fold7 Ultra comes as no surprise, as rumors surrounding the handset have circulated for some time. We expect it to be officially announced next month, with Samsung rumored to unveil the next-generation Z series at an in-person event in New York this July.
