Samsung rolls out May 2018 security patch starting with the Galaxy J2 Pro

Samsung is committed to bring constant and timely updates to all of its devices, that is within their 2-year official support period. While others are working (most probably) on rolling out the May security patch for Android, Samsung is now rolling the update to one of its devices, though surprisingly not on their flagship device but on the Galaxy J2 Pro (Galaxy J2 2018).

Samsung haven’t release any official changelog of the update, likewise Google haven’t release what’s in for the May update either so it’s a wild guess we believe. Moreover, the update is recently spotted in Bangladesh and there were no words as to when the update would reach in other countries.

If you’re in Bangladesh and carries a Galaxy J2 Pro in your pocket, you should be getting notification about the update anytime now or if not, you can head over to Settings >Software update to check for the update’s availability on demand.
