Samsung Mobile Poland confirms the Android 5.x Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note II

Samsung Poland just pulled out some of the upcoming events for two-year old flagship. According to the company’s Poland division which revealed some of the most awaited information that users would like to hear. Posted by Samsung Mobile Poland on Twitter, the aging Galaxy Note II will be in the list of devices that will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

 The Samsung Galaxy Note II since its release in 2012 have already had 3 major OS updates and if the Lollipop update would push through in which many had hope will be the 4th major OS upgrade breaking the usual 18 month boundary support for most Android powered smartphone devices.

Though the major update has been confirmed by Samsung Mobile division from Poland, it didn’t advice when the update would roll out. Samsung had already issued the latest Lollipop update for a number of Samsung devices including the Galaxy S5, The Galaxy S4 and a few of its derivatives as well as the Galaxy Note 3 and recently a number of Galaxy Note 4 devices are now receiving the much awaited update. We are yet to see the official TouchWiz adorned Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy Note II.
