Samsung launched the new Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition with 128 GB storage in South Korea

The Galaxy Note 5 is only available at 32 GB and 64 GB variants which kept users wondering why the Korean tech giant held back from offering a 128 GB version of the most popular handset from Samsung. Well today, Samsung is introducing the new Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition, a special holiday edition of the most celebrated phablet that sport the 128 GB internal storage space. However, if you want to get your hands on the unit, you’ll need to fly to South Korean to get them.

The new Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition is now up for purchase at SK Telecom and KT which are the two top mobile carriers in the country. The unit will be available in Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum with a price tag of a whopping KRW 999,900 or about $846 in the US.

Apart from the super large storage space, the Galaxy Note 5 winter Edition specs are all the same as our regular 32 GB and 64 GB variant, so the only special thing about the new version is the storage and nothing else. While South Koreans could enjoy having their holiday gadget spree with the new Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition, other regions might be out of luck as Samsung doesn’t expressed any plans of releasing the said variant worldwide.
