Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is officially set for February 21st with the Galaxy S7

Samsung has already set the date for #TheNextGalaxy event which will finally announce the company’s upcoming Galaxy S7 which has gathered a great number of rumors lately. Like what have already been told earlier, Samsung will unveilthe new handset on February 21 Sunday in Barcelona Spain just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) will commence.

Samsung also released a teaser video for the event however the scenes doesn’t reveal much about the handset but a man wearing the company’s VR headset, something tell us that devices that will be unveiled on the event will have a bigger role to do with virtual reality and by that means the Galaxy S7 might pour in a better support for Samsung’s VR headset and further develop more virtual reality experiences.

The slogan from Samsung’s new video also read “Get ready to rethink what a phone can do”. From simply calling, texting and internet browsing, new generation of smartphones like the Galaxy S7 can do even more and with virtual reality, Samsung can offer a far more extended experience from what we can touch to we could incredibly see. All of that will be demonstrated on February 21.
