Samsung Galaxy K Zoom to Launch officially in the Philippines on June 26
The new Samsung Galaxy devices that focuses on imaging will be launching in the Philippines on June 26 as the new Galaxy K Zoom. Though we could now see this new device in some stores, the official launch won’t be happening until Thursday with the official price to be announced officially. According to our source, they have initial spotted the Galaxy K Zoom displayed for sale at Villman for 24,900 but let’s wait for a word during event.
Announced last April, the Galaxy K Zoom was thought to be the Galaxy S5 Zoom since its predecessor was widely known as the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Being known previously as the S5 Zoom, the Galaxy K Zoom and the Galaxy S5 shares an identical design, if not for size and the extended camera module on the back, we could mistakenly see this device as the mini version of the Flagship smartphone.
The biggest selling point and the primary focus of the Galaxy K Zoom is its camera. The 20 Megapixel 1/2.3″ sensor size on the primary camera features a built-in optical zoom that noticeably protrudes on the back, this provides both autofocus and manual focus control when taking photos. Other neat features built-in for photography are the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and coupled with both Xenon flash and LED flash, geo-tagging, HDR, face and smile detection and panorama.
