To ease out conflicting claims for different Samsung branches, Samsung Denmark has reconfirmed that their Galaxy Note 2 users will indeed get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update despite claims from Samsung Gulf’s division not to release the said update for the almost three-year old device. With such information, Samsung Denmark clarified things and said that updates may vary from market to market and in the case with Denmark, they already have the roadmap for the update.
That said, with Danish Note 2s (CSC code: NEE), not only the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) will get the update but also its LTE variant (GT-N7105) will get the update. As the two variants gets the update, what is still unknown at the moment is that we’re not sure which of these two devices will get it first.
In addition to that, Samsung Spain have also revealed that their Galaxy Note 2’s will also be getting the Lollipop update pretty soon which means that as the impending release comes to a close, we might be able to see more regions to have their Galaxy Note 2 updates ready as long as internal testing won’t find any problem with them.
