Samsung has a series of devices designed for specific market, the Galaxy Note being the top of the line and the Galaxy S series as the high-end devices. Then we have the Galaxy A series as the mid-ranger while the Galaxy J series being the entry-level. Depending on the market, there are also a series of devices that fits in between these three categories that if we are going to take them all, it would further send us away from the subject for this article.
With that being categorized, Samsung came first with the flagship device to dive into the hype with the announcement of the Galaxy Note8. Now that these two devices proves that Samsung has its own way of implementing this technology, the South Korean tech company is bringing the same camera configuration to its entry-level handset and that’s the upcoming Galaxy J7+.
The Galaxy J7+ dual camera module comes with a 13 Megapixel sensor with an f/1.7 Aperture plus a 5 Megapixel camera with an f/1.9 Aperture, with that configuration, it brings the new Live Focus Portrait mode introduced in Galaxy Note8 that produces bokeh effect similar to a DSLR photos. On the front, the Galaxy J7+ is equipped with a 16 Megapixel front-facing camera for every Selfie needs and for high-quality video calls and video recordings.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy J7+ is built in a full-metal unibody design and comes with a 5.5-inch superAMOLED full-HD display. The handset will be powered by an octa-core processor and is paired with 4GB of RAM, storage is at 32GB with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Feature-wise, the upcoming handset is equipped with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the front and there’s a dedicated Bixby button on the side. It also got a Dual-SIM slot which supports 4G/LTE.
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ is driven by Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) and runs on a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. The handset will be available in Thailand pretty soon with the following color options: Black, Gold and Pink while pricing is yet to be announced.
