Revised Google Nexus 5 hardware fixes minor issues with the new batch of units
Early adopters of the new Google Nexus 5 had been discussing the issues of their units over the XDA Developers forum. Google is ultimately quick to respond with the problems that the first batch of Google Nexus 5 devices possessed.
Thanks to an XDA Developer forum member shinral who posted pics of comparison with the first batches of Nexus 5 over the new unit with tweaked hardware which was silently updated by the two company’s concerned Google and LG. Shinral discovered the new hardware tweaks after his own unit encountered a problem which forced him to return the unit and eventually received a new replacement.
Users had been complaining about the “cutting-edge” display frame, rattling buttons and a protruding SIM tray, others also reports a much softer volume with some users reports a little buzzing sound through the phone. Upon examination, these problems and issues mentioned were resolved with the new batch of units with one of the most noticeable differences is the speaker grill in which the new unit has a much bigger holes in them and a stiff and much sturdier buttons, thus eliminating the rattling noise of these buttons.
