Realme Watch S announced

Realme is now getting serious with its own branded smartwatch, the company announced the Realme Watch back in May with a square rounded-edges design. Now the company is making a follow-up with a traditional round-faced design with the new Realme Watch S.

Up front, the new Realme Watch has a 1.3-inch round touchscreen display with a 360×360 pixel resolution screen and features a photosensitive sensor that automatically adjusts its brightness against the ambient light and is covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.

The case of the Watch S is made from Aluminum alloy together with the two control buttons on the side while its strap is of a silicone variant and are available in four colors: Blue, Orange, Green and the classic Black.

Feature-wise, the new Watch S comes with a PPG Heart rate sensor that provide a real-time and accurate heart rate monitoring. It also includes an SpO2 sensor that measures oxygen level in the blood, think of its as your personal pulse oximeter on-the-go that’s quite handy especially at this time.

Aside from these two features, the Realme Watch S also comes with a total of 16 Sports modes providing sports assistance and tracking your daily sports routines like Walking, Running, Basketball, Football and more. The watch can also monitor your sleeping patterns which tells you your progress and your hours of sleep.

While the smartwatch itself can’t make calls, it can accept or reject calls, Read notifications and also provide controls for your music and camera. There’s also hundreds of watch faces to choose from so you can really have your watch fit into you current style.

It can also go up to 1.5 meters underwater and it is rated with IP68, but Realme says that the watch is not suitable for use when swimming or in a shower and that makes us wonder.

For stamina, the Realme Watch S comes with a 390mAh battery and Realme promises up to 15 days of use for a one full charge.

For Availability, Realme is launching the new Watch S in Pakistan starting November 14 through retail stores in the country.
