The new chipset will be Qualcomm’s 2021 flagship silicon that will power 2021 flagship devices in which Qualcomm already suggest companies like Oppo, Xiaomi and Motorola are going to use the chipset for their upcoming flagship devices.
The new Snapdragon 888 will continue to enhance and improve Qualcomm’s already proven and tested processing power with new technology such as 5G connectivity with its built-in X60 modem, improved graphics on the new Adreno 660 which Qualcomm claims 35% faster than its predecessor.
The new chipset also has the new Hexagon 780 AI processor baked into the hardware which promises better performance at 50% from last year making operations like facial recognition, depth perception and advanced photography operations more improved.
