On a recent teaser image posted on China’s popular microblogging site Weibo, Oppo is set to launch the new ColorOS 7 on November 20. ColorOS is Oppo’s primary UI on their devices but what the teaser image came along with is that the new UI will be rolling out first to Reno Ace and also the Reno 10X Zoom but eventually, the event will also detail which Oppo devices will get the update.
While it is expected that Oppo will roll the update to all Reno devices, it is also expected that all 2019 devices from the company will get the update, what’s uncertain however are the Oppo devices of old.
The new ColorOS 7 will be based on the latest version of Android which in this case is Android 10 and that in mind, it clearly means that Oppo devices will benefit most of the new features from Android 10 and that includes the much celebrated Dark Mode. The teaser also implies that the update will bring major improvements in gaming performance.
