Oppo F11 and F11 Pro goes official with 48 Megapixel camera

We’ve been teased with Oppo’s new F11 series and now, it finally announced the next generation Selfie expert device with the new F11 and F11 Pro.

Both devices sport the same specs, almost, as the regular F11 comes with a notch for the front facing camera while the F11 Pro adopted a pop-up mechanism making the whole front virtually covered by the display.

The new F11 series comes with a large 6.53-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display. There are a few differences in terms of screen resolution from both devices as the F11 Pro doesn’t have a notch on the display while the vanilla F11 have. Both devices delivers the best visuals though.

Speaking of cameras, the F11 series uses a 16MP front facing camera with beautification features. On the back, there’s a dual lens system that houses a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.79 Aperture lens and a 5MP depth sensor. It uses pixel binning technology to come up with 48MP images processed in 12MP photos.

These imaging sensors are assisted by AI and features AI Ultra-clear Engine, Ultra Night Mode and Dazzle Color Mode. Despite seemingly capable hardware, the F11 and F11 Pro can only record videos in Full-HD and HD for both the back and front cameras.

Performance-wise, the F11 and F11 Pro are powered by MediaTek Helio P70 with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU onboard. These handset are configured with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and for storage in 64GB or 128GB and it’s non-expandable.

On the software side, the Oppo F11 series boots ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. It has its own set of AI tools built-in, one of which is Oppo’s Hyper Boost technology which assigns specific settings with games, apps and operating system which assures continuous performance boosts.

The new Oppo F11 series runs on 4000mAh embedded battery and supports VOOC Flash Charging 3.0 that promises a little more faster charging speed that VOOC’s previous implementations.

The new handsets are expected to become available on key markets but the company chooses to unveil the handset in India and will be available through Amazon India starting March 15 in Thunder Black or Aurora Green for the F11 Pro and Flourite Purple, Marble Green or Jewelry White for the F11.

For pricing, the F11 Pro starts at INR 24,990 for the 6GB/64GB configuration. The F11 on the other hand is up for INR 19,990 in 4GB/128GB configuration.
