onetechavenue celebrates 7th Anniversary

It’s been seven long years since onetechavenue went live on October 24, 2013 and as the site continues to grow, we’ve decided to introduce a new makeover.

The new changes are quite an overhaul as it presents a new way to navigate through the site and they are detailed down below:

Our new logo is a reimagination from its predecessor retooled to make a distinct insignia.

If we look back, we’ll remember that onetechavenue isn’t new to redesigns and changes in color palette.

About five years ago, onetechavenue also used a lighter color schemes all throughout and the new colorway for the new site design was reminiscent to that.

With call the new design “2021” and we are making changes on how you move around the site. The home page gets a complete redesign with complete rearrangements of blocks and elements.

We’ve decided to removed the menu bar from header and instead placed everything under the “Topics” menu, under this menu are the usual links on different categories that we now classify as topics.

Links to the latest posts from the site are now display through a scrolling text and is easy to spot upon loading the site and is also visible on every part of the page.

The main page is also populated with sections for a specific topics such as “news”, “mobile and gadgets”, “science and technology”, and our “tips and tutorials” section. In addition to these specific sections, each section labels are clickable and will take you to their respective topics view.

We also introduce our new site search which can be access by clicking on the search icon ( ⌕ ) on the upper right of the page.

onetechavenue now comes with a dedicated Search result page that ensures you’ll get straight to your queries.

These are just some of the new changes on onetechavenue and we hope that you as our users will get along with this pretty much easily.
