After a couple of weeks of price hikes, the oil industry in the country is looking for a rollback next week. Oil companies next week could slash their gasoline prices up to 1 peso per liter while both diesel and kerosene are seeing between 70 and 90 centavos deduction from the current oil prices.
One of the reasons that affected the oil prices in the country is the decreasing demand of oil products around the world.
As always the case, oil companies around the Philippines are expected to publish their final fuel adjustments on Monday lunchtime with the implementation of any price adjustments on Tuesday.
