Oil Price Rollback Expected This Week After Consecutive Hikes
The week saw a remarkable event with not one, but two separate oil price hikes. However, the coming week is expected to be different, as oil companies in the country are set to rollback their prices in line with current market trends and the easing of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
According to experts, all major oil products—namely diesel, gasoline, and kerosene—will see a rollback of no more than 2 Pesos per liter. While this isn’t even half of the total increase recorded this week, it helps break the streak of consecutive price hikes over the past few weeks.
Oil companies are expected to announce their final price adjustments on Monday, with implementation set for the following day (Tuesday).
