Nokia’s Z Launcher Beta now available on Google Play store

If you’re up to try something else for your device then you’ll be delighted to know as Nokia released its Z Launcher Beta on Google Play. The launcher will be bundled out of the box for the upcoming Nokia N1 tablet but Nokia is already giving an early glimpse of the app for other device probably and definitely to test the software with real people in a real consumer environment. The app if free but as of now the beta software is only available on select regions and if you’re not on those regions supported then you’re out of luck, well partly. Unlike during its earlier days the app now no longer require users to sign-up to test it, as you can readily download the software on Google Play.

The launcher should work on devices running Android 4.1 or later. Though it runs on every device with Android 4.1 or later, Nokia still expressed full support only to Nexus 5 or later and the latest Samsung Galaxy S handsets. Nonetheless, it still works perfectly fine with other Android devices but without the promised optimizations designed for supported devices.

And yeah, if you can’t see the app on your Google Play store then the next thing you can do is manually download the .apk  file then install it on your device. The apk file can be found on the source link below besides Google Play.
