New Samsung Galaxy PRO Tablets announced

Samsung finally unveiled not just one or two tablets this quarter at the CES 2014 but four new Android tablets that is going to populate the store shelves pretty soon. These tablets includes the first 12-inch tablet the Galaxy Tablet Pro 12.2, a Pro version of Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a new Pro Tab 8.4 and the much hyped and went trending for the past weeks online the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. All of these tablets will sport a new Magazine UI from Samsung which was also unveiled during the event.

// Galaxy NotePRO 12.2

After months of speculations, rumors and leaks, Samsung finally revealed the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 during the CES conference. As one of the first devices to sport the largest display that Samsung has to offer to date, the NotePRO 12.2 also comes with a stylus as standard to the Note series. The larger screen size maximizes the usability and has further improved what a Note device has to offer.

The TabPRO 12.2 does have almost everything that the NotePRO have under the hood and the overall look and feel but one thing is missing with the Tab series is the absence of an S-Pen which proves to be a huge difference in terms of usability and productivity. But that does not seem to upset most users who does not regularly use a stylus to interact with the display. In fact, a regular tablet like the Galaxy Tab for instance is all enough for a typical tablet user.

Aside from the obvious screen size and the battery capacity differences , Everything else inside on these devices seems like a copy and paste which crams up all those components from the 10.1 model to fit into a more compact and smaller device on the 8.4-inch model.

As you can see, these devices lines up to be at the premium level with specs that should be expected given the PRO name is emphasized to have it work at a high-end grade and with a professional look and feel. Samsung managed to capture the heart of users who previously complained its cheap looking glossy plactic finish with a new faux leather look which debut with the release of Galaxy Note 3 and seems to virtually solidify the overall quality of these devices.

All four tablet devices will also pioneer Samsung’s first major and unique UI changes since the introduction of TouchWiz UI for Samsung devices with the new Magazine UX which hopes to enhance the user experience.
