It’s now a thing for devices to be available at launch in two variants especially with the introduction of 5G. For the new Redmi K30, the same thing happens here with the regular Redmi K30 and the Redmi K30 5G version.
Both Redmi K30 devices sports a large 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS display and features a 120Hz refresh rate and has a pill punch hole that houses a 20 Megapixel Selfie camera with a 2 Megapixel depth sensor.
On the back, you’ll be greeted by a vertically oriented a quad-camera setup sitting on a mimicked round camera module with a 64 Megapixel Sony IMX686 primary imaging sensor, 8 Megapixel UltraWide (120 degrees FOV), 2 Megapixel depth sensor and a 5 Megapixel camera with Macro lens for the K30 5G while for the regular K30, that’s down to 2 Megapixel.
Both of these devices comes with a fingerprint-sensor integrated into the power button.
The K30 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which enables the handset to have 5G connectivity support and is a first for any Redmi device and has a copper tube for liquid cooling. The regular K30 on the other hand only supports 4G connection and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.

Both the K30 and the K30 5G includes a 4500 mAh embedded battery. Both delivers fast-charging capabilities with the K30 5G supporting 30W charging while the regular K30 settles with 27W.
The new Redmi K30 can now be purchased in China and is available in these following color options: Blue, Red and Purple. The Redmi K30 5G will hit the Chinese market by January 2020 and will be available in Blue, Red, Purple, and White.
