Evan Blass has it again, this time, it’s the Moto X4 but on a different beat. This one that’s been leaked right here looks to be the Moto X4 but the teaser image of the device’s back says Android One and that could only mean one thing and that means it will be powered and regularly updated more timely through Google’s trusted update servers.

Recent iteration of Google’s Android One initiative was initiated by the release of the Xiaomi Mi A1, an Android One powered device without the usual and MIUI proprietary interface found on Xiaomi devices and with the Moto Android One device, we are also expecting a similar experience around it. That seems a little understatement though as we all know already that Moto devices recently are often released with an almost stock Android experience if not with some Motorola specific modifications along with it.

With the release of an Android One variant of the Moto X4, we could expect it to be coming in the US and becomes the first Android One device available in the country. However, we could not expect Carriers to support such device and if they’d do, it could be a game changer for smartphone prices.
