DOH released COVID-19 CASE BULLETIN #38 at 16:00H (4:00PM PST) on April 21, 2020.
As of today, the Department of Health reported 140 new cases in the country which brought our total confirmed cases to 6,599. Also, there were 9 new fatalities reported since the last 24hours that gives us a death toll of 437.
The health department also announced 41 new recoveries which we now have a total of 654.

COVID-19 was declared by World Health Organization (WHO) as a Pandemic on March 03, 2020 which started in Wuhan, China. The disease is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) with a Flu like symptoms such as Fever, Cough, Colds and in more severe cases Difficulty in Breathing.
There are no vaccines or direct cure for the disease at the moment and the only way to protect ourselves from getting infected is to practise proper and frequent handwashing, avoid touching our face, mouth, nose and eyes. Our health experts strongly suggests that we wear face masks as much as possible.
