Microsoft to remove Cortana on iOS and Android devices by January 31st

A recent post in support forums from Microsoft’s UK, Canada and Australia websites all pointed out that the Microsoft virtual assistant will no longer be available on both Android and iOS devices by January 31, 2020. In the US though, that wasn’t mentioned.
As the service becomes unavailable next year for the two major mobile platforms both for the Cortana app and the Microsoft Launcher that is available on Android will lose the virtual assistant service. However all user-created contents will still be accessible through Cortana on Windows.
Also, contents created through Cortana including Reminders, To-Do list and Tasks are automatically synced on Microsoft To Do app. In addition to that, Microsoft is also integrating the virtual assistant on Microsoft Office 365 and accessing Cortana contents from it shouldn’t be a problem.
Microsoft will be rolling updates on Microsoft Launcher on January 31st that removes Cortana on the launcher altogether.
