Microsoft to launch its first Lumia device for 2016 with the new Lumia 650 on February 1st, could also be its last

Microsoft’s restructuring and shift of focus has greatly affected its smartphone business that even the latest Windows 10 operating which was thought to revitalize Microsoft’s smartphone business didn’t happen. Despite the shortcomings and fall of Lumia devices, Microsoft is still on track to deliver a Lumia smartphone device this year but unfortunately the one and only device that Microsoft that it’s going to release this year could also be the last. Our sources suggest that Microsoft might eventually end the Lumia series as the generation of Windows phone from Microsoft would flourish straight from the Surface team which is rumored to announced their first smartphone device later this year.

The Lumia device that we are talking about it the often leaked nowadays the upcoming Lumia 650. The upcoming handset is said to feature a simple and contemporary design the plainly follows the Lumia concept but with a hint of premium build through its metallic frame. The back covers looks to be removable which will then give users access to its battery compartment. While the handset comes is undoubtedly premium looks, the spec’s will tell you otherwise.

The Lumia 650 comes with a little larger 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 resolutions. Under the hood, the Lumia 650 will be featuring the old Snapdragon 200/210 chipset with 4-core CPU. there is only 1 GB of RAM and a minimal 8 GB of expandable storage. It will be running Windows 10 Mobile obviously and is the fourth device from Microsoft to boot Windows 10 Mobile out of the box.

Microsoft haven’t been really open about the upcoming handset except that the Redmond giant confirms that it will be launched on the first day of February.
