Metro Cebu tops COVID-19 surge in Central Visayas

With a total of 151 new COVID-19 cases in the entire Central Visayas, Metro Cebu and its provinces accounts 132 of this cases.

Cebu City has 54 new reported cases, Mandaue also has a surging numbers at 31 and Lapu-Lapu at 7. The provinces of Cebu gets a total of 40 new COVIC-19 cases while the remaining cases were from Negros Oriental.

With these numbers, DOH have accumulated a total of 2,264 active cases in the region after 21 new recoveries and 2 new deaths were reported today.
