As rumors heat up, Meizu confirms that they have something for us to make way for the holidays. The Chinese company is setting an event on December 8 and that’s tomorrow Monday in their homeland. In an interview by the Chinese portal ZOL,the company’s VP Li Nan confirmed early rumors and that they are going to unveil a device which is quite a “quality Smartphone” designed for the younger people.

There has been leaks regarding Meizu testing a K52 device on GFX Bench which is expected to be a low-cost handset but with a plentiful of features that experts believes that the company is going to announce tomorrow. The Meizu K52 handset is said to sport a 4.6-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolutions, it is powered by a Mediatek MT6752 Octa-Core processor running at 1.7 GHz and is paired with 2 GB of RAM and 12 GB of internal storage. It seems to be odd and a little non-standard for a device to have a storage cap as that, but then we’ll have more info on that matter eventually by tomorrow, so stay tuned.

In addition to that, Li Nan also revealed that his company has no plans to release a mini models of its MX series stating that Meizu has already MX4 with a 5.36-inch display and one larger at 5.5-inch for the MX4 Pro. Li Nan believes that users are already comfortable with devices that they are offering and based on his statement, a mini version MX4 seems to be impractical at the moment.
