Meizu MX4 Pro’s receives new update with Flyme OS 4.5.1, packs performance and UI improvements

With almost everybody else are jumping in to bring their devices up to date, Meizu is also rolling out a significant update to its flagship device. Users of the high-spec MX4 Pro can now download and install the latest Flyme OS 4.5.1 update for the handset. The new ROM is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is said to bring a significant improvements in performance and responsiveness.

The software update is a 650 MB file  and is currently available via Over-the-Air (OTA) update and should reach devices in no time. Users who aren’t receiving any notification about the update may manually check for available update and it should then be available for them.

With Android 5.0 Lollipop, Meizu’s Flyme OS 4.5.1 will bring new features and system wide improvements to the flagship handset including: Android ART Runtime, Battery performance and new UI animations. Performance has vastly improved with faster launch times on Apps, Improved Home button response and with the update, the known heating issue has also been resolved with the new update.
