LTFRB approves 1 Peso fare hike for PUJ’s in NCR, Region 3 and 4

Transport strike was supposedly observed nationwide today as operators and drivers opposed to the plans of phasing out ofJeepneys from the streets, however, it looks like that on a selected few regions in Luzon Philippines joined the movement while other places in the country continued to do their daily chores. Just as the demonstrations were happening in the streets of Manila, the Land Transportation and Regulatory Board (LTFB) approved the 1 Peso fare hike for National Capital Region (NCR) and Regions 3 and 4.

The 1 Peso fare hike in these regions will start on Wednesday February 8, 2017.
