LG’s new addition to the G Pad II is their latest 10-inch variant and is set to début at IFA 2015 just two weeks from now. the new G Pad II 10.1 is LG’s top of the line tablet and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and a bumped up RAM.

Though sporting the same 10.1-inch screen, the new 10-inch G Pad II however got sharper with 1920 x 1200 resolution display. Under the hood, the new tablet is powered by a 2.26 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space. Besides the internal upgrades, the new 10.1-inch G Pad II is also given a nice design treatment with a sleek clean body and a single brilliant bronze color option to maintain the tablet’s premium aesthetics. It also comes in a smaller footprint by a millimeter and it’s undoubtedly one of the few large tablets in the market with thin bezels. With its slimmer profile, could only mean one thing, embedded batteries on slimmer devices are usually smaller and that holds true with the new tablet. The G Pad II 10-inch comes with a 7400 mAh battery that is actually smaller compared to last year’s 8000 mAh, though small, LG promises that the new battery on the tablet should be enough for a day on regular use. however we’re skeptical about this notion as we’ll know more about it once it hits the market.
