LG is prepping a tablet optimized for Productivity
There were rumors that the Korean tech firm is about to unleashed a new generation of tablet/notebook hybrid which will focus more on productivity. The company isn’t new in the tablet game, in fact LG is currently playing catch up with its rival company Samsung in the Android market and brought out different variants of slates in terms of screen size with its own G Pad line and the Window 8.1 powered LG Tab-book released just last February this year. Despite its effort to make a profit with these devices, the sales were slow and has never fired-up since then.
But it seems that the company has never given up on the market and instead, its preparing another form-factor of the hybrid tablet/notebook PC with a detachable keyboard that would resemble much more like Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3. The hybrid tablet is said to be powered by a 4th generation Intel Core processor and a Solid State Drive (SSD) for longer battery life. Though it’s still unknown whether the device will be powered by Android or Windows but we suspect it would be the latter.
